Gummi
Bears Adoption Agency
The Visitors'
Guide

This is
vital if you want to go through with adoption. The process is
simple but we do have rules, like any good agency. We want the
children to be granted _good_ homes after all. Please read the
following and the process will be directly below.
Rules
1:
You may
only adopt 2 cubs at one time. If you are seen to be an active and
caring parent, more
adoptions will likely be welcomed.
Parents
who merely put up the pictures and/or statistics on their cubs,
will be limited to three
cubs.
If
you use your cubs in journals/stories/art/etc and OR have frequent
updates...you may adopt up
to five cubs.
We
recommend waiting in-between your cubs as we do add new cubs on
occasion and once you have adopted your limit, except for rare
cases of EXTREMELY active parents, you may not have any more.
2:
As a
prospective parent, you must show the Agency what kind of
environment or home you can provide the child. A link to your
proposed home must be included with your adoption request.
Due to some cases of parents who have not put up their page in a
timely fashion, your
proposed page must be up and running before you request adoption.
3:
Gummi
Bears is a children's cartoon. As such, no cub may be allowed to
roam about (be displayed on) an all-adult site, nor any site with
links to an all-adult site.
4:
It is
necessary for a link to the Gummi Bears Adoption Agency be
provided on the site where your adopted roam. It MUST be on
the same page as your adopted cubs and clearly visible. They might
get lonely for some of their friends and ask for a visit,
and telling others about us will give the others a chance to be
adopted that much quicker:) You may use these banners to link us if
you like or a text link:

5:
If the
GB Adoption Agency sees or hears of any misuse of the cub, an
official inquiry will take place. Cubs WILL be taken from any
unfit individuals. Adopting even an online character is not a joke
and we will not tolerate abuse of our creations. [ Abuse does not necessarily
include 'net
neglect', where after adoption the pic just sits on your site. It
is up to you to be an active parent and determine the
characteristics and personality of any adopted cub. If you prefer
to keep the picture and nothing more, that is acceptable, though
don't be surprised if we drop a line asking how little ___ is
doing today:) ]
Now,
that isn't asking too much, is it? If you feel you can meet these
standards, follow the procedure
below:

To Adopt
Send
an email to
ulisabarbic@myway.com
with your request. Please include the number(s) of the cub(s)
you want along with the link to your website, the page where your
cubs will be residing. Include 'Gummi Bear Adoption' or 'GB
request' in the title.
Please
include the names that you wish to give to each cub so that we can
list them in the Parents'
Book. Or let us know that you are still considering and will
provide the names at a later date.
Please
let me know if you want your email address given away in the
Parents' Book. We will
honor any requests of privacy.
Wait.
Jade Griffin and I'll review the home for your cubs and if it is
approved by Jade Griffin and myself then
I will send you
your cubs' portraits.
