Wilbur's Toy Chest

This is Wilbur's Toy Chest. Being just five, he has a lot of toys. While farm animals and toys are his favorites, he has quite a few others as well. He is quite an outdoorsy cub though and he loves to ride and play in nature more than he does to play with toys indoors but he certainly has more than his share of games and toys.

These four are Wilbur's favorite stuffed animals. The wolf was a gift from his great-grandmother and he named it after her, calling it "Commander" which is appropriate since his grandmother is leader of this clan. The graviton boy he got in memory of his now-deceased older brother, from my first adoption group. He called it Jeffrey after his brother's middle name. The bear he got from my father, his grandfather, and he named Sky because of its coloring. The dog was a gift from his older adoptive siblings and he called it Rescue.

Wilbur loves the outdoors so of course he must have some toys to play with outside. The bubbles are always a favorite. He loves to go outside, no matter the weather and just blow them around. He can sometimes do this as the same time that he flies his kite although he winds up with more in his hair and fur than anywhere else. The skates are always going, inside and out!

This is a game that his older Plundaarian siblings taught him. I make sure that all my children meet one another, through time travel or other means. Chaos, Mitchen, Echo and Zephyr taught him this game from Plundaar. It is not as rough as most Plundaarian games which suits Wilbur just fine. Instead of batting the ball over the net, you fan it over. Wilbur loves to play it against anyone that he can snag into it!

The quickcar playset seems to be a favorite among my children. Wilbur is hardly an exception. He opted for the harder track, despite his young age. He loves the challenge and while sometimes it does lead to a tantrum or two of frustration, a simple break from the toy often solves the problem. His stubbornness is visible in full swing when he gets involved with these tracks!

Yes, Wilbur wanted a playhouse, a two story one. He doesn't see any shame in it and neither do I. A playhouse shouldn't be determined by gender, nor should any other toy. His sister loves to play in it with him although a few times arguments have sprung up about it but usually they can agree pretty well on what to play.

Wilbur _loves_ the outdoors. He wasn't happy with just one pole horse, he had to get one of each kind that we had! He loves the dragon best but depending on what his imagination is doing, he'll grab the horse, lion or rama and be perfectly happy riding them. His sister will have nothing to do with these toys unless it's to annoy her brother.
