Sani's Toy Chest

Little Sani is the baby and he is already being spoiled! He has a ton of toys, mostly stuffed animals. While he is too young to get the older more imaginative toys, he has toys that promote creativity and motor skills which are important for his age because those skills are starting to develop. His siblings will often play with him too.

Stuffed animals are the bulk of this collection. Sani doesn't care what gender the toys are meant for. He'll take any gender toy as long as it's squeezable. The gummi knight is a favorite. The gargoyle sometimes scares him but the bear and lion are always close at hand. Marigold thinks it's weird he has a girl doll but he likes it. The wolf is always in his playpen.

This easily the favorite game as of the moment. This baby gym intrigues him most of all. He will lay on his back for hours, sometimes staring and often times batting at the little shapes and colors. Marigold tries to make a lesson out of it sometimes but usually Wilbur or Ivi can talk her out of it and let the poor cub just play!

These colored keys fascinate Sani. He can spend hour after hour playing with them, either by chewing on them, knocking them against the ground or as his favorite game appears to be: throwing them and crying and screaming until I or his siblings go and retrieve it. It can get very tiring so we are trying to cut down on that game!

Ah the necessities of having a baby. Sani loves to eat, more than any other baby that I've seen. He can go through about three bottles in one sitting. I'm actually glad that I didn't decide to try and breastfeed this one. I'd be so sore it isn't funny. As for the pacifier, that has become a lifesaver on many an outing. The rattle he is just starting to take interest in.

These toys remain unused for the moment, as they typically have to sit up first. Sani is slowly getting there. For now, his siblings or I will take the rings off for him and just let him fiddle with them as he pleases. Marigold is trying to teach him the colors and it is actually starting to work, although very slowly. Sani seems to be the only one she is patient with.

Sani is still too young to really sit up on his own so he has this little items when he wants to move. The carriage is a personal favorite because it both shades him and lets him look out when he wants to. He's the best baby I've had so far, as far as riding goes. Soon as I put him in, he'll pass out cold. The bouncer is used inside, especially if  one of his siblings wants to play with him some more but doesn't feel comfortable holding him that long.
