Welcome to Marigold's Toy Chest. Being a toddler, she is quite spoiled in the toy department and she never tires of showing it off. You're welcome to look over them but I ask that you don't touch them; Marigold can be very picky about how things are set out. The girl's IQ is amazing but that pride needs to be trimmed down a little!

Marigold loves stuffed animals and here are just a few of hers. These four are her favorites and all four reside on her bed. The gargoyle is a fairly new addition. She calls it Beedy because of the way its eyes stick out. The golden bear she calls Goldie and it is one of her favorites and always gets the "special" spot by her head. The lion she calls Orange, simply for the color. The tiger gets to sleep with her _and_ goes everywhere with her so she gave it, and I quote, "the prettiest name in the world"...Marigold...oy, there is that arrogance again...

Marigold is quite the creative little thing and reading and creating stories is one of her favorite pastimes so it only made sense that she get a puppet theater. Often, she'll draft her brother and sometimes her older adoptive siblings to play her other characters and Sani and I will often watch. The girl is very imaginative...

These three items are for outdoors which she doesn't play in a lot. Her allergies keep her inside most of the time as a lot of the flowers, dirt and pollen make her eyes swell up and her nose run but that hasn't stopped her yet. The dinosaur she usually uses to dive after in the swimming hole. It has survived so far! The bubbles are a favorite although she hasta be away from the main field when she uses them. The kite is another favorite, simply because it's gold!

These three sets of blocks are big favorite among Marigold. Because of her intelligence, it isn't a concern that she'll put them in her mouth. She will sit inside the sitting room for hours, stacking and building all kinda of things, from palaces to secret gummi inventions. she'll even create obstacles for her brother's quick car tracks.

These three balls are favorites, especially during summer because she will find a playmate to toss them around with. They are big hits in the courtyard, especially when the adults are still busy with training or other chores. But they really become popular when the clan goes down to the swimming hole. Man, they keep the cubs intrigued.

Marigold ,despite her young age, loves to move around. She is far too young for a lot of the typical ride-ons but there are still quite a few that she can ride. The sheep ride on is currently her favorite, if only for its coloring. She calls it Pricey because it is, in her words, "a creature that has fur of pure gold!" The wagon she shares with her little brother and the other cubs. The stroller is simply for very hot days or when we travel far.
