Ursalia is certainly a creative little mind. She loves to design things so here are a few of the little ideas she's conquered up or drawn. Her brother helped with a few, mostly the first one (he lent her his ruler) but the rest are her own...kid like fantasies most of them. After all ,what kid doesn't have dreams of lands made of toys and candy?

This is a sketch of Ursalia's room and is actually almost blueprint perfect. Thomas helped her get her lines straight and showed her some of the lines and symbols for doors and such. It was rather sweet to see them working on this together. I can't get over how well they get along! It's really amazing actually. But Ursalia said she did this for a "test sketch"

Now this is one of Ursalia's fantasies. She calls it the playhouse of the future and insists that once she's grown she will invent one for kids to play in. It has all the things you'd expect from an eight year old's imagination:) A room with no gravity with a trampoline to play in, a hall with an indoor roller coaster, and a room with nothing but candy...

This final one is from Ursalia's future "garden" The path in doubles as a slip 'n slide. And of course at the very end, is a giant lake/pool. It has the fish of a pond but the cleanliness of a pool she announced to me the other day. Always one for color, she included bushes and flowers along the oath and every kids' greatest dream: a fountain of chocolate!

This is one of her newer designs. She got very creative one day, while on a sugar rush, and told her brother that she was gonna create the ultimate park one day. He humored her and asked her what was gonna be in it and she replied "Everything's candy and as soon as you eat it, it grows back!" So here is part of her design with her lollipop tree, chocolate swimming pool and licorice monkey bars.

This is Ursalia's Ultimate Slide. She has nearly every cub's love of fast rides and she keeps saying that all the slides and roller coasters aren't nearly fast enough. So, while on a massive sugar high, she created this crazy slide. It starts up in the clouds, with no visible supports and goes at about a sixty degree all the way down to the ground!
