Pets

Every cub we've seen loves animals and will undoubtedly eventually ask: "Can I keep it?" We designed this section to make that answer a bit easier. Here, we offer tame and safe pets that you can feel comfortable giving to your little ones. We have larger pets designed for older or more responsible children as well as smaller and less requiring pets for the younger generation. If you have any requests for a certain animal, please place a order with ulisabarbic@myway.com and we will see what can be done.

Gummadoon Unicorns

These gentle unicorns are used commonly by the citizens and knights of Gummadoon and most other major gummi cities. Both the mare and stallion are fairly young and quite strong, easily capable of carrying three cubs at once or hauling a load. The stallion is a bit stronger and capable of carrying up to 5 cubs. The mare is tame and very gentle, she is best for those cubs that are a bit timid and nervous about a pet. The stallion is a bit more wild and is recommended for older and more rambunctious cubs. However, there is much care needed to keep these animals and you must have adequate space. However, treat them right and they will love you back ten-fold.

String Serpent

Also known as "ribbon serpent",
this one foot long, cold-blooded animal is a type of snake that lives in very remote and often mystical or mythical realms. They have no teeth and are considered only half-snake and half-serpent. They can be fragile so handle these animals delicately. Not for an active or very young child. Their diet is omnivorous. As cold-blooded animals, they require warmth to live. These cool creatures are easy to maintain and they comes in an incredible variety of colors. If you do not see a color you like, we may breed one for you upon request. Perfect for your quieter little cubs.

Syrpent

Less like a snake than the string
serpent, it lives exclusively in mystical and mythical realms. The syrpent
is a lot longer, growing to a length of ten feet at the maximum. It also
occurs in a huge variety of colors. The syrpent does have quite large fangs
and must be handled with care but is hardier than the string serpent and can
imprint on a single owner so that there is little threat of the owner getting bit. A pet that requires watching around guests, however, this creature should be contained in a large glass or very strong mesh container. A great pet for responsible reptile lovers.

Wolves

These cuddly creatures are well known in many parts of the world, unfortunately as killers. This is completely untrue of our wolves. We have two cubs and one adolescent. All of these wolves are already house broken and will grow to about the size of a golden retriever. Care must be taken if you have small cubs however as these creatures do have claws and they do bite. While their bite will not kill, it can be quite painful. But once you've become familiar with these animals, they can be the gentlest of gentle and quite protective.

Sea Creature

That's right; we offer sea creatures here. You'll notice they hold a remarkable resemblance to Nessie, the Loch Ness Monster. However, these creatures are as gentle as they come. They are great with children of all ages. They will grow about the size of a horse, and you must have a large body of water to house these animals.

Boggle

These very small animals make great pets for those shy and gentle children. Shy by nature, Boggles can change their shape at will to anything unliving. So they must be watched carefully but they can be very friendly pets. They will grow to about the size of a ferret. Your shy little cubs will find a close friend in these gentle creatures.

Rocs

These large birds will grow huge, about the size of a bus when fully grown. We offer chicks which are about the size of an average full grown human. However, these birds are very gentle and are generally quite kind to all other creatures. Their beaks are very strong but they typically do not bite but caution should still be used. Due to their size, you must have adequate space. But once you've settled in with them, you'll have a friend for life.

Ramas

Barbic cubs will be most familiar with these creatures but these half-ram, half-llama beasts can be trained to work with any cub. About the size of a llama, ramas are not as gentle as other pets and not recommended for young children. We offer baby ramas but they still must be broken in at the right age. Ramas are extremely strong and stubborn and it is important that the rider always faces them and never turns their back. Once ramas are trained however, they can be obedient and great pets for a little daredevil.

Dragons

That's right: dragons. Our dragons are already broken in however and they will only grow to about three feet in height. We have two types: the fire breathing dragon and the water breathing dragon. Both are good for older children but not recommended for younger cubs. They require a lot of attention and are not for irresponsible owners. But if your cubs are ready for such a task, it can be quite rewarding.

Deer

Ah, the 'bambis' of the forest. We offer fawns for adoption but they have been raised among bears and humans and are domesticated. However, they will still need adequate space to run and there is a slight danger of injury with the male's antlers and their cloven feet. However, these are merely mild precautions. All of our deer are extremely gentle and shy. They may take time to adjust but once they do, they make excellent friends for any cub.

Cats

This common pet is also offered, from their young stage, the kitten. Although our kittens have been trained to use a litterbox, they still have sharp claws and teeth and care must be taken for households with small cubs. The kittens may have a tendency to scratch or bite at first but once they have become adjusted to their new home, most will be the perfect pussycat for any age.

Tree Painters

This small barbic animal is the gentlest creature of many barbic homes. They eat a simple diet of leaves and berries and are very shy and gentle creatures. It take a while to win their trust but once it is won, they are exceptionally loyal animals. They are called Tree Painters because they defend themselves by turning whatever color bark of the tree they're on. They can do this with any item of nature but nothing non-organic. They have been known to blend in on their owner's skin or fur but they cannot do it on clothing. They are very energetic and need to have space to run. It is fine to set them free outside once they have earned your trust because they will return always.

Sky Ryder

This is a fairly large bird, and when fully grown will average the size of a car. However, chicks are about the size of a hen. They are a sky blue color with feathers so silky and smooth that they hardly seem to be feathers but skin. Build wise, they resemble an eagle, with a larger and sharper beak but no talons. Their feet are unclawed. They are very solitary creatures and will imprint on one owner, like the Syrpent does. They eat a diet of small rodents and leaves. They must have a large room to fly in and care must be taken with small children, as they will bite. However, with their owner, they are quite friendly and once full grown, they will gladly fly around with their owner on their back. By that time, they can be trusted with their family's life
